Accessibility Standard

SILVER OAK PROPERTIES is developing this website to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG), version 2.2, at Level AA. These guidelines are the internationally recognised standard for website accessibility, and Level AA is the level most commonly applied by organisations and regulators. Version 2.2 incorporates all requirements of the earlier versions 2.0 and 2.1, so a page meeting 2.2 at Level AA also meets 2.1 at Level AA.

This is the standard we are working toward. It is not a claim that we have achieved it.

Conformance Status

No formal accessibility audit of this website has been carried out, by us or by any third party. It has not been tested with people who use screen readers, magnification, voice control or other assistive technology.

Individual pages and components have been checked against particular guideline requirements during development, and issues found have been corrected. This process is useful but does not constitute an audit, and is not represented as one. Accordingly, we are not claiming that this website conforms to the guidelines: the extent of conformance has not been determined.

Known Limitations

The following issues have been identified on the live site and have not yet been corrected. This list reflects what is known at present; it is not a complete record of every accessibility issue the site may have, as no complete assessment has been carried out.

• Small links in the header utility bar. The phone number, email address and WhatsApp links in the bar above the main navigation measure approximately 16 pixels tall. The guidelines require a minimum target size of 24 pixels by 24 pixels for interactive elements, so these are smaller than the recommended size.
• Small links in the footer. The contact details, the office address beneath the map, and the Privacy Policy and Terms of Use links at the foot of the page measure between 16 and 18 pixels tall, for the same reason and with the same effect. The four columns of links above them meet the recommended size.
• Carousel navigation dots on the home page. On a mobile device these measure 7 pixels across. A larger invisible touch area surrounds each dot, but on a pointer-based device that area is narrower than 24 pixels, because a wider area would begin to intercept selections intended for an adjacent dot.
• Content supplied by third parties. The map panels on the contact page and in the footer are provided by a third-party mapping provider, and the meeting-booking window is provided by a third-party booking service. We do not control the underlying code of these components and cannot warrant that they meet the standard. Where either prevents you from completing a task, please contact us and we will provide an alternative means of doing so.

Beyond the items above, most of the website has not been assessed for colour contrast, for whether every function can be operated by keyboard alone, or for how it is presented by screen-reading software. Some pages have been assessed in this respect; most have not.

Scope of This Statement

This statement covers the public SILVER OAK PROPERTIES website — the pages accessible from the navigation menu at the top of this page. It does not cover the private system used internally by our staff to operate the site, nor does it cover third-party websites linked from it.

Statement Preparation

This statement was prepared on 14 August 2026 and describes the website as it stood on that date. It is updated when a matter addressed above changes.

No date has been set by which the limitations listed above will be resolved. Providing one would require an estimate rather than a fact, and an invented date would be of less value to you than the list itself.
